The primary chemical that our supplier uses for manufacturing of treated burlap is "Compsol". It is a chemical that dramatically slows rotting of burlap fibers, improving the longevity of the material.
The primary visible factors of treated cloth are the conversion of the cloth's natural color to a dirty olive green color.
Furthermore, there is a retainment of 1% copper in the material that is the primary measurement of quality control in the treatment process.
